Our enjoyable adventure kicked off well before we even set off. The company really nailed the prep work. The guide we had in Quito prior to heading to Galapagos was super nice. She shared a ton of knowledge about the Quito region. It was a blast! On the Grace Yacht, the crew was fantastic, putting in a lot of effort to ensure everything was just right. We've traveled quite a bit and had all sorts of experiences across the U.S. and beyond, but this trip will definitely be one of our top highlights.

Wow, what an awesome adventure! It went beyond what we thought it would be. From the time we got there until we departed, we were absolutely thrilled. The boat was stunning, and the crew along with the naturalists were incredibly friendly. Big thanks to Lennie! We had our two boys, ages 6 and 8, with us, and everyone made us feel right at home; the kids had a blast and we met some wonderful folks on the boat.

We really enjoyed our experience on the Evolution! The naturalists, the crew, the itinerary, and the meals were top-notch. Honestly, we couldn't have wished for a more perfect time!

This is truly the ultimate tripod I've ever used. I can't even imagine what could have made it better. The team from Grace was exceptional! The guides were amazing, and the wildlife and nature we encountered were just incredible. We're already planning the second part of the tour for when we have some free time. Can't wait!

I had super high hopes for this adventure—unique wildlife, Pacific islands, Darwin’s history, and Quasar’s past accolades — and our recent week on the Evolution blew them all away! The trip was organized to perfection, and the accommodations were more than cozy (always had dry towels and clean rooms!). The food was fantastic — diverse, abundant, and tasty.

What really stood out were the charm and professionalism of the crew, the ideal size of the 32-passenger vessel, and the joy of spending time with a wonderful group. The gathering spots - dining areas, lounge, decks, and dinghies - made it easy to chat and build connections, or find some peace and quiet. The ten kids quickly formed a crew, sharing meals, games, hikes, and swims. The guides and dinghy teams kept me informed, safe, and entertained!

The pre-trip info package was detailed and super helpful. My only complaint is that it came from multiple emails (or the website), which kinda overwhelmed me as I kept rereading, unsure if I was seeing new or just repeated info.

Our trip to the Galapagos was simply fantastic from beginning to end. It all kicked off with the booking process, where Quasar reached out to us, clarifying everything we were curious about and ensuring we got precisely what we desired. We spent a couple of nights in Quito, enjoying a wonderful city tour. After that, we headed to Galapagos and boarded the Grace. The boat met all our expectations, and the crew and guides were top-notch. Plus, our fellow travelers were great company, which is key since the boat is cozy and there’s not much room to escape! This was a dream trip for my wife, something she’s been eager to do for ages. It turned out to be the priciest single vacation we’ve ever had, but it felt worth every penny considering the service, amenities, and of course, the Islands and the unforgettable wildlife. We were lucky enough to see all the animals we hoped for up close and even swam with turtles, iguanas, sea lions, and penguins. One evening, we even spotted some whales in the distance. It’s incredible how close you can get to them, and they seem completely unfazed. My longest telephoto lens ended up being unnecessary and just added weight, though I do wish I had splurged on a better underwater camera. Overall, it was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Snorkeling at Champions was definitely the best part of the trip. All the excursions surpassed what we experienced on Grace. We were on Grace about five months back when one of the two naturalists had a cough on the second day and was quickly quarantined to keep everyone safe. But on Evolution, one of the three naturalists had a sore throat, was coughing, and was losing his voice halfway through the journey yet kept guiding without wearing a mask. A few guests started coughing in the buffet lines, and while I managed to avoid Covid, two out of the six of us traveling together showed symptoms towards the end of the cruise and returned home with Covid. I can't say how many others might have caught it from this Evolution trip.

You shouldn’t hesitate to book with Quasar. This was our first adventure with them, and I really hope it’s not the last. They handle all the travel connections seamlessly, and everything went off without a hitch. The places we stayed were top-notch, and the food? Just fantastic! The Naturalist guides were truly the best of the best. They were super knowledgeable and shared their insights easily. Plus, they were a blast to hang out with. The Galápagos Islands are an amazing experience on their own, but Quasar’s support took this trip to a whole new level.

From the moment they picked us up at the airport to when we were dropped off at the end of our journey, the customer service was top-notch. From the very first interaction with Quasar until we got back home, it was an absolutely amazing experience. Quasar was with us at every turn, making sure all our needs were met. As soon as we landed in Ecuador, a warm and professional driver greeted us and took us to our initial stop in Old Town Quito. They organized our stay in Quito, a 4-day adventure in the Amazon, and then back to Quito before heading to the Galapagos islands for a week-long trip on The Evolution. After that, we had a full day tour of Otovalo and then a final ride back to the airport for our return home. Every single Quasar staff member was a joy to work with. I’d definitely choose Quasar again and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking about a trip to the Galapagos.

The place we stayed was fantastic. The yacht offered plenty of room and was super comfy. Having a small group made it easy to connect with everyone on board. The crew was awesome, and the food was tasty and satisfying. The guides were really knowledgeable and clearly cared about protecting the Galápagos Islands. The activities were a blast; I loved the combination of snorkeling, hiking, and kayaking.

Our crew of 10 (including 2 grandparents, 2 kids with their partners, and 4 grandkids) had the time of our lives on the MY Grace in August 2022. This was a 'bucket list' experience that felt just right for us, especially with all the ongoing worries about COVID-19. The trip truly blew us away in every aspect. The service, crew, and living arrangements on the yacht were top-notch. Our two naturalists were super knowledgeable and did an awesome job getting us and the kids involved in a ton of fun activities. We were constantly amazed by the incredible wildlife and breathtaking views. We wholeheartedly suggest Quasar and this journey to anyone seeking a close-knit cruise filled with adventure and wildlife encounters.

This adventure really meets all the excitement. Each day was carefully organized and smoothly carried out by the crew. The meals on the Expedition were tasty and healthy. Some of the standout moments were snorkeling alongside penguins, sea lions, and sharks. Every interaction aboard was great—the guides and whole team were exceptional. We took our trip with a 9 and 6-year-old, and they were part of everything we experienced. They’re already asking when we can go back!
